Coaching Philosophy
I believe that the role and purpose for any summer program is for it to be a fun learning experience for kids. My goals is to help children develop a love for the sport of swimming. Swimmers will be taught proper stroke mechanics in order to improve swimming efficiency.
I have found over the course of my career that children whom develop proper stroke mechanics and a love for the sport often will remain in the sport for the long term. Therefore our goal of Swim Team coaching staff will focus on fostering: A Genuine Love for Swimming.
It’s always exciting to see kids hopping out of the car already with their caps and googles on eagerly rushing to get to practice. Please understand that all children on this team will develop/progress at different rates. Please avoid falling into the “comparison trap” with other children and remember that this program is for your child’s growth and not for you to relive your childhood.
